Can The Weather affect your appetite!!!!! YES!!!!

Well its one of those Hot and humid stormy days here in Johannesburg South Africa!!!

I love this weather you can almost see that the ground is finally relieved from its dry and dusty state, all the dust settles and the air feels so clean and fresh!

Its so strange on rainy days how all i want to do is eat! I want to be cuddled up on my couch with a blanket, lots of great movies a big box of popcorn, and chocolates, followed by a cup oftea and biscuits!!!! Yum!!!

Im almost tempted to do just that after work!

Well ill deffinately be doing the couch and tv thing, and maybe even the popcorn!!! Iv found a great microwave popcorn maker that uses water!!!! so im holding back on my calories today so that i can have some of that later.But no chocs !!! oh well!

I really find that weather affects my appetite!!!! I dont know if anyone else feels like that!

But when its really hot here like africa gets all i want is fruit and water i dont crave nearly as much junk in the heat!!!!

Then in winter when its freezing!!! theres nothing like a good curry or stew or pasta!!!!

Then rainy days are treat days for me! Hot chocolate biscuits and sweets!!!! HMMMMM

Well i hav absolutely no chocolates at home and have promised myself to go straight home after work so no stopping at the shops!!!!

My rainy days are now healthy treat days… which in the end is all for the better cause there is no guilt involved at all!

Oh NO!!!!

Well last week was my first week in a loooong time that iv stuck to a healthy eating plan!!!

I was really proud of myself! No sweets chocolates bread!!! YAY

Then came the weekend! And no computer therfor no buddy slim or food journal!

I should however be able to stick to my plan without it!! But it was harder than i thought!

Sat morning was ok! although i did have 2 slices of bread they were low gi! with 2 boiled eggs and a slice if ham! Ok so it wasnt too bad then we went out on sat night, i was good with my drinking only 2 whiskey and waters! which i allow myself on my plan!

Then we got home i was STARVING it was about 2 in the morning and i had a ham cheese tomato and mayo sandwhich!!! EEEEEEEEK!

I felt terrible as i crawled intro my bed pulled the covers over my head and slept!

I fet better yesterday when i woke up although i knew i had a family lunch(always killers)

But my dad just got back from a health farm so it turned out to be a pretty healthy lunch! with a little sorbet to finish!

But then it happened !!!!!! Out came the chocolate!! ( HELLO darkness my old friend)

Ouch 4 pieces later and a lot of guilt i went home.. only to find that my boyfriend had planned a romantic dinner later that night!!!!! PASTA! Ouch what could i say…. i had a small helping for dinner..

But feel terrible!!!

But I cant et that stop me!!! i made a promise to myself and im gonna stick to it!!!!!

I only wish the girls i work with didnt go out and get pizza!!! the smell!! YUM! But no!

There will be none of that this week!

Im starting that sacred heart soup diet tom!!!

Maybe if any of you have tried it you can let me know what you though or if you have any tips that would be great!

Keepin Busy!!!!

I have realized that the easiest way to stop cravings is to keep busy,

I Havent had time to pack lunch the past few days to take to work!! things have been crazy busy! So iv just been grabbing lots of fruit!!! and i realized yesterday that i had only had fruit and soup for 2 days!!!!!

And i didnt even think about chocolates or snacks!

Its been great! It just shows how our cravings are totaly controled by our minds and its when we obsess about not being alowed to have things that we crave them even more!

Thats why i refuse to call it a diet, its a healthy lifestyle (way of life)

I have also decides to give myself 1 cheat meal a week only if i havent cheated! Not Fast food or junk! Just a nice hearty meal and maybe a piece or 2 of chocolate.

I find this motivates me during the week to not cheat.

Well its been a week for me with NO CHEATING!!! yay!

I havent weighd myself cause i havent bought a scale yet!! ill do that this weekend!!

But my pants are feeling looser!!! WhoooooHooo!

And thats motivation to keep going!

3 Days clean!!!

I went out with my boyfriend a few nights ago, and we saw this girl with an amazing body!!! I told him thati wanted a body like that!!! and proceeded (prob a bad move) to ask him if he would love me more if i had a body like that!!!

Surprise surprise!!!!! he said YES!!!!!! the nerve!

Anyway what  motivation to kick start a diet!!! ill show that string bean!!!

3 days clean of my biggest vice chocolate and junk food!!! yay

Definately time for a new start!!!! maybe even a new man!!!!
